Driving Legally in Sri Lanka
To drive a Tuk Tuk (three-wheeler) legally, you cannot just use your standard car license. You need:
- International Driving Permit (IDP): Obtained from your home country.
- Sri Lankan Temporary Driving License: Issued by the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC).
Don't worry about the paperwork! Submit your documents to us 7 days before arrival, and we will have your local permit ready for $40 USD.
