Do I need prior experience driving a Tuk Tuk?
Not at all! Around 90% of our renters have never driven one before. Our comprehensive driving lesson on day one will cover gears, braking, reversing, and spatial awareness. You'll be a pro in no time.
What happens if the Tuk Tuk breaks down?
Sri Lanka has Tuk Tuk mechanics on almost every corner. For minor issues (like a flat tire), a local mechanic will fix it for a few dollars, and we will reimburse you. For major breakdowns, our 24/7 support team will dispatch a replacement vehicle immediately.
Is there a deposit required?
Yes, we hold a $150 USD security deposit on your credit card, which is fully refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle.
Can I drop off the Tuk Tuk in a different city?
Yes! While pick-up in Negombo/Colombo is standard, we offer island-wide drop-off for an additional fee (e.g., leaving the Tuk Tuk in Ella or Galle).
